Last week saw a variety of new menu items. Here's a roundup of new products:
- Carl's Jr. and Hardees launched the new Grilled Cheese Breakfast Sandwich featuring choice of sausage, bacon or ham topped with a folded egg and American and Swiss cheeses served on sourdough bread. It's available for $2.99 in a combo mean with Hash Rounds and a drink for $4.69.
- Krispy Kreme has teamed up with Lotus Biscoff to launch a biscuit flavored doughnut in the UK. The Krispy Kreme Lotus Caramelized Biscoff Doughnut is filled with caramelized biscuit spread, iced with a Biscoff biscuit spread and topped with Biscoff biscuit crumb and white chocolate shavings. Bakers are encouraged to make their own recipies using the spread.
- Cinnabon CinnaSweeties are 'now sweeter than ever' as the bite-sized doughnuts now come with frosting. The cinnamon sugar treat also features choice of Oreo cookie pieces and sprinkles. The company is also bringing back the Oreo Mint Chillatta, a beverage blend of sweet cream, Oreo cookies, mint and chocolate sauce.
- Cousins Subs has launched two limited-time only subs, the Reuben and the Rachel, in the spirit of St. Patrick's Day. The Reuben is served on Rye bread with corned beef, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut and Thousand Island dressing. The Rachel has been updated with pastrami, Swiss cheese, coleslaw and Thousand Island dressing on Rye bread.
- Jack in the Box introduced the new Buttery Jack burger featuring garlic herb butter melted on top of a quarter-pound signature beef patty on a Jack's gourmet bun. Choices include the Classic Buttery Jack with tomato sauce, lettuce, tomatoes and Provolone cheese and the Bacon & Swiss Buttery Jack with creamy bacon mayo, hickory smoked bacon and Swiss cheese.
