U.K. health experts request QSR ban in poor neighborhoods

The Scotsman (Scotland): A Medical Research Council team said the high prevalence of quick-service restaurants in poor areas may be one of the factors behind rising obesity levels in those neighborhoods. The team called on planners to consider the health of the community when deciding whether to approve new applications from restaurants such as McDonald's, Burger King, KFC and Pizza Hut.
