The chief development officer of Subway did it. A White Castle executive did it, too. Now it's time for Rick Silva, CEO of Checker's and Rally's restaurants, to move into the reality show spotlight as he participates in CBS' Undercover Boss.
The episode airs tonight.
According to Al.com, Silva will make appearances at some Checkers and Rally's units in Alabama and Florida.
The reality show is in its third season and features corporate executives who go undercover to work alongside employees in the field. In tonight's episode, Silva apparently shuts a restaurant down after witnessing a manager lecturing a new employee.
The show also features numerous employees Silva praised.
"I think it's great for the world to see how hard our employees work, how proud they are of what they do, how challenging these jobs can be. Unfortunately, I think we lose perspective on that," he said.
A new Checkers' prototype will also appear on the episode, which Silva said will be expanded soon.
