The Salt Lake (Utah) Tribune: Built in Salt Lake City in 1960, the Iceberg Drive Inn has 12 Utah franchises and plans to open one at University Mall in Orem, Utah, in February.
The most popular ice cream flavors are the strawberry-banana mixture, available in spring, and the almond fudge and cookie dough mixture, available throughout the year. The caramel-marshmallow-vanilla mix was 2007's most popular nontraditional flavor of the month.
The Iceberg expanded its food line to include new hamburger sizes with grilled onions. The company averages $1 million in yearly sales.
