Utah family wins KFC decorating contest

The Salt Lake Tribune: The Holdman family of Pleasant Grove, Utah, has been awarded first prize in the KFC Festive Fanatics contest for its display of 45,000 lights, beating out 11 other semifinalists across the country.

Louisville, Ky.-based KFC will pay the Holdmans' December light bill and a credit card bill. The family also will receive a year's worth of KFC food. Read more
