Vietnamese youth welcome fast food

Viet Nam News: "Western-style" fast food is welcomed eagerly in Vietnam, especially by the young. KFC has 44 restaurants in Vietnam, South Korea's Lotteria has almost 40 and BBQ Chicken has three in Hanoi.

Before Lotteria opened in Vietnam, the company surveyed the tastes and eating habits of the Vietnamese and adjusted its recipes and cooking styles accordingly. For example, it included rice dishes and took living standards into account when setting prices.
