Virginia Bojangles franchise named top performer
July 17, 2007
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — After an annual review process of franchisees across the system, Bojangles' Famous Chicken 'n Biscuits has named the Rocky Mount, Va., location, managed by Unit Director Pat Foley, as the top "ShowBo Award" winner as the best performing restaurant for 2006.
The franchise is owned by David Arrington of Arrington Enterprises Inc.
Judging for the ShowBo Award is based on points earned through a comprehensive evaluation process that looks at food quality, customer service, safety, cleanliness and the condition of the exterior of the store. Stores that reach the ShowBo Award finals undergo three separate inspections during three different months by three different sets of judges.
Arrington's franchise scored higher on the evaluation than any other franchised location. Foley's location has won the award three out of the past four years.
The award was presented at Bojangles' 12th Annual BoFest, an event hosted by Bojangles' Restaurants, Inc. to recognize franchisees and to drive the continued growth of the franchisee family. This year's celebration was held at The Westin Resort in Savannah, Ga.
Bojangles' Restaurants Inc., founded in 1977 with headquarters in Charlotte, N.C., operates 381 stores in 10 states as well as Honduras and Mexico.
