Viva McDonald's debuts in Las Vegas

Las Vegas Review-Journal:Viva McDonald's, an upscale, high-tech environment version of the No. 1 burger chain's stores, will open at 11 a.m. Thursday at 2896 Las Vegas Blvd. South in Las Vegas.
The interior features include:
- Upholstered chairs, faux-leather easy chairs and saucer chairs
- A coffee shop-like lounge area
- High-tech video screens broadcasting the debut of McDonald's Channel, carrying content from the Discovery Channel, TLC, Animal Planet and the Science Channel
- Design accents such as pendant lighting, framed artwork, textured walls, electrical outlets for plugging in laptops and wireless Internet access
Traditional McDonald's fare remains on the menu.
