supply," according to one of the ads featured in a blog emphasizing the overall availability of beef to the brand on its website.
Last week, as this website reported, some Wendy's locations told customers they had run out of the fresh beef the company touts in its marketing. These shortages were attributed to national beef supply issues brought on by COVID-19-related closures at some slaughterhouses where workers became ill.
In its blog this week and a video released from Wendy's CEO Todd Penegor last week, the brand acknowledged that while "some menu items may be in short supply from time to time at some restaurants, we continue to supply fresh beef to all of our restaurants, with deliveries two or three times a week."
