Wendy's appoints executive vice president of restaurant services

DUBLIN, Ohio — Wendy's International Inc. appointed Ed Choe as the executive vice president of restaurant services, effective immediately.
The company said Choe had been serving as senior vice president of Wendy's northeast region with 1,100 company and franchise restaurants. He will be responsible for leading several key corporate and field departments that support and directly impact store operations.
The restaurant services department is new to the company, the release said. It will encompass training, quality assurance and operations administration as well as other units to be created as a result of the company's reorganization, currently underway.
Choe joined Wendy's nearly 25 years ago, starting as a manager trainee with Wenco, a franchisee in the metropolitan New York / New Jersey area.
