Wendy's beckons breakfast biz with free Baconators

Wendy's has put itself in prime position to pick up seasonal breakfast business with its latest promotion to give free Breakfast Baconator sandwiches with a purchase by using the chain's mobile app, according to an email from Wendy's.

The promotion that started Monday, runs through Dec. 27. To take advantage of the free offer, customers place a mobile app order or show the QR code from the app in-restaurant.

The sandwich includes a cracked egg, six strips of bacon, sausage patty and two slices of American cheese and Swiss cheese sauce on a bun.

Wendy's is based in Columbus, Ohio.
