Wendy's board committee hires advisors

DUBLIN, Ohio — A special committee of the board of Wendy's International Inc., which is exploring a possible sale of the company, has hired investment firm JP Morgan as lead advisor and Lehman Brothers Inc. as co-advisor.
The special committee is exploring a number of strategic options for Wendy's that include, among other things, revisions to the company's strategic plan, changes to its capital structure, or a possible sale, merger or other business combination.
