Wendy's extends $1 fries through holidays

Under the heading of "If it works, keep doing it," Wendy's said today it's extending its $1 Any Size Fry offer until Dec. 26, guaranteeing the chain some value-seeker business through the holiday shopping season. 

The promotion allows diners to order small, medium or large sizes of natural-cut sea-salted French fries at $1 each. Wendy's today has more than 6,600 restaurants worldwide, all of which are probably burning through large fry containers about this time.
