Associated Press:A couple who planted a severed finger in a bowl of chili at a Wendy's was sentenced to prison terms of nine years and more than 12 years, according to a published report Wednesday. The couple attempted to extort money from the QSR chain by claiming they'd found the detached digit in their meal. Anna Ayala, who claimed to have bitten into the finger, was sentenced to nine years in state prison. Her husband, Jaime Plascencia, who obtained the finger from a co-worker who lost it in a workplace accident, was sentenced to more than 12 years.
