Wendy's franchisor goes private

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Meritage Hospitality Group Inc., which operates 49 Wendy's restaurants and five O'Charley's in western and southern Michigan, has withdrawn its listing on the American Stock Exchange and has completed a "going private" transaction.
