Wendy's is in a generous mood this July, with offers for both a free burger on Thursday, July 8, and free large fries on July 13, according to an email from the Columbus, Ohio-based QSR.
The company is giving free single burgers away Thursday it said as a way of honoring the fact that it was the first national fast food burger brand to launch a rewards loyalty program last year at this time, and perhaps also as a way of telling its Golden Arched competitor that "it was here first," after McDonald's rewards program launch on June 22.
Then, the large fries giveaway is on July 13 and honors National French Fry Day (yes, there is such a thing).
The free single burger offer is an in-app exclusive deal that customers apply to mobile orders. They can also scan the mobile offer in-restaurant or in the drive-thru. Next Tuesday, on National French Fry Day, the free fries are also an in-app exclusive that can be accessed the same way as the burger deal.
Other deals the brand is offering this month, include a free Frosty-ccino or brewed coffee with purchase through the end of the month via its app or a two for $4 Breakfast Deal through early August that includes a Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit, Bacon, Egg & Swiss Croissant, and Sausage, Egg & Swiss Croissant, via the mobile app.
And finally, the brand is offering a buy-one-get-one for $1 deal July 12 through Sept. 5 that include a 10-piece Spicy or Crispy Chicken Nuggets, Spicy Chicken Sandwich, Classic Chicken Sandwich or a Dave's Single via the mobile app and in-restaurant, as well.
