Wendy's kicks off football season with breakfast sandwich promo

Wendy's is offering breakfast sandwiches for $1.99 to kick off the football season.

Heisman Trophy winner and former American football running back Reggie Bush has teamed up with Wendy's for the promotion, according to a press release.

"Wendy's breakfast is a guaranteed win for fans looking for a better breakfast," Carl Loredo, CMO, The Wendy's Company, said in the release. "Kickoff your game day mornings with the best breakfast in the game and catch the $1.99 croissant sandwiches offer before it's gone."

Wendy's fans can order online, via the mobile app or at their nearest Wendy's location.

Wendy's was founded in 1969 and operates more than 6,800 restaurants worldwide.
