Wendy's has quietly launched a YouTube video contest, 30 Seconds of Wendy's. Promoted on the chain's e-club and YouTube channel, the contest invites consumers to post 30-second self-created videos of their favorite Wendy's moment. Videos are to be uploaded on the company's YouTube fan page, and a winner will be chosen every day through Nov. 5.
Part of the chain's recently launched "You know when it's real" campaign, the 30 Seconds of Wendy's contest will accept video entries through Nov. 5 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern time. Videos cannot exceed two minutes in length and can only be posted by members of YouTube.com. Entries will be judged on originality, humor and creativity.
Throughout the contest, 25 winning entrants will receive a year's worth of Wendy's hamburgers in the form of a $200 gift card. Full contest rules and regulations are available on the brand's YouTube channel.
