Wendy’s is bringing back its annual Father’s Day Frosty Weekend — June 14 and 15 — in which participating restaurants will donate 50 cents from the sale of every Frosty product to support the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption.
According to a news release, the DTFA is an organization that works to help find permanent families for more than 134,000 children in foster care.
Liz Geraghty, VP of Brand Marketing, said Wendy’s has raised more than $12 million throughout the past eight years through its Father’s Day Frosty program.
Wendy’s Father’s Day Frosty Weekend promotion is part of a year-long national cause marketing campaign including national TV and radio advertising, a new multi-media adoption hub, the “In Their Own Words” video series, a blue ribbon icon and in-restaurant quarterly fundraisers.
