Wendy's LTO with 'the beef' and without

President Lincoln may have said that you can't please all the people all the time, but Wendy's is trying hard to do just that with new LTOs that provide options for carnivores and vegetarian-flexitarian customers. 

The brand is introducing a new limited-time offer on its Smoky Mushroom Bacon Cheeseburger, with sautéed mushrooms, Asiago cheese, Applewood-smoked bacon and fried onion tangles on a bun.

A second, LTO puts the toppings on a baked potato instead of a burger, a news release said. Non-beef eaters can get the loaded potato without the bacon.

The burger goes for $4.99; the loaded potato can be had for $2.99.
