Wendy's: Strategic review taking longer than expected

CNN: Wendy's International Inc. has said the previously disclosed review of its strategic options by a special committee of the board is taking longer than anticipated. The Dublin, Ohio-based restaurant operator cited continuing turmoil in the financial markets for the slow progress and said the committee is in the final stages of its review process. Read more
