Wendy's sued over syrup costs

Zanesville Times Recorder: DavCo Restaurants Inc., the largest Wendy's franchisee, is suing the company for $2 million, alleging the company improperly inflated the cost of soda syrup and diverted the money to national advertising.

A Wendy's spokesman said the suit was without merit.
