Wendy's to revamp breakfast menu test

Kansas City Business Journal:Wendy's/Arby's Group Inc.will cut the number of Wendy's restaurants that serve breakfast and test market a new breakfast menu in Kansas City, Pittsburgh and Phoenix, the company has announced.
The company said in a presentation at the Cowen & Company Consumer Conference that it will reduce the number of Wendy's restaurants that serve breakfast from 850 to between 450 and 475, test a market expansion for its breakfast menu in late 2009, and target a national launch of the reworked breakfast menu sometime in 2011.
