Wendy's tweaks product development process

Business First of Columbus: Wendy's new management team turned to the brand's customers for its latest product development ideas, an area where the company had lagged in recent years. The company used the results of the 5,000-plus consumer survey to shape its business planning.
 
Wendy's is testing a company-record 14 products, with its recently launched boneless chicken wings one of the first to make it.
