Wetzel's Pretzels continues expansion with Utah Walmart location

Wetzel's Pretzels has opened in a Walmart in American Fork, Utah. It's the fifth Wetzel's bakery in the state, according to a press release.

The bakery is under the helm of multi-unit Wetzel's operator Alex Winder, and his business partner, Seth Teague. Winder was first introduced to Wetzel's Pretzels during a trip to Arizona and has since grown his portfolio to four bakery locations across Utah. He plans to continue growing the Wetzel's Pretzels footprint throughout the state.

"Bringing another Wetzel's Pretzels location to Utah marks a great next step in my entrepreneurial journey," Winder said in the press release. "Opening five locations in just two years reflects Wetzel's strong operational support and commitment to smart growth. I'm proud to expand again with the American Fork location and look forward to serving the community with the same friendly service and craveable snacks our guests know and love."

Wetzels has grown to 450 locations.
