Wetzel’s Pretzels introduces bite-sized hot dogs

Wetzel’s Pretzels has introduced Wetzel Dog Bites. Available now through Aug. 31, each Wetzel Dog Bites order comes with eight bite-sized versions of the company’s signature Wetzel Dogs, and will be offered for $4.99.

According to a news release, Wetzel Dog Bites are 100 percent all beef mini hot dogs wrapped with Wetzel’s pretzel dough, then baked until the pretzel is golden brown. Dipping sauces are available, including cheese, jalapeño cheese and pizza sauce.

“Mini Wetzel Dogs are a combination of two of our most successful and craveable products, the Wetzel Dog and Wetzel Bitz,” president Rick Wetzel said in the release.

As Wetzel’s Pretzels marks its 20th anniversary this year, it is expanding domestically and internationally, and will enter Asia, South America and Russia.
