Travelers passing through Visalia, California, now have a new option to satisfy their cravings on the go. The Visalia Travel Center recently welcomed Wetzel's Pretzels to its growing food court lineup, according to a press release.
Wetzel's Pretzels, known for its signature soft pretzels, offers both sweet and savory treats. The travel center location complements existing eateries at the travel center, which include Porta Subs and Sbarro.
The restaurant is under the helm of local businessman Sam Sabbah.
"The debut of this Wetzel's location signifies a pivotal moment for my family and me," Sabbah said in the release. "Incorporating Wetzel's into our travel center was an obvious choice, and its delectable menu offerings are certain to entice travelers to stop in for a sweet or savory treat. I am confident that our local community will embrace the new center as a dependable rest stop, no matter where their travels take them."
The Visalia Travel Center is more than just a gas station. With space for over 60 semi-trucks and Tesla charging stations, it offers a one-stop shop for travelers. Amenities like sleep pods and showers cater to long-haul drivers, making it a convenient and comfortable rest stop.
"It's operators like Sam who allow us to grow our brand across the nation," Jon Fischer, head of development at Wetzel's, said in the release. "We're always looking for passionate individuals or groups who want to develop alongside the brand and bring Wetzel's into new locations. We're confident Sam will make a positive mark to travelers along the Highway 99 corridor and we are excited to witness his impact on this monumental community project."
