Whataburger debuts Monterey Melt burger

Whataburger has debuted its new Monterey Melt burger, available for a limited time. The burger includes two 100-percent beef patties topped with Monterey Jack and American cheeses, grilled onions and peppers and Whataburger's new Jalapeño Ranch sauce.

The Monterey Melt is available as a meal or a la carte, and also can be ordered as a junior version on a smaller bun.

"The Monterey Melt is a perfect blend of spicy, meaty, melty and grilled perfection. The grilled onions and peppers really complement this burger to make for something special in each bite," said Rich Scheffler, Whataburger vice president of Marketing and Innovation.
