Whataburger launches new burgers, brings back breakfast favorite

Whataburger is launching several menu items and bringing back the popular Whataburger Breakfast Burger, according to a press release.

One new item is the Hatch Green Chile Bacon Burger made with beef patties topped with bacon, a slice of American cheese, a slice of Monterey Jack cheese, mayo and roasted Hatch green chiles.

The company has also launched the Whataburger Hatch Green Chile Bacon Chicken Sandwich, a chicken filet topped with bacon, mayonnaise, a slice of Monterey Jack cheese and roasted Hatch green chiles served on a brioche bun.

"Roasted Hatch chiles are a fall favorite that bring a different kind of spice to our Hatch Green Chile Bacon Burger, and now, Whataburger Hatch Green Chile Chicken Sandwiches," Rich Scheffler, Whataburger senior vice president and chief marketing officer, said in the release. "The flavor combination with the smoky bacon and cheeses creates unique offerings that make these limited-time offers must-taste experiences."

The new Whataburger Chocolate Mint Shake features the company's signature chocolate shake with the addition of mint.

"We look forward to bringing our customers new shake flavors to enjoy," Scheffler said. "The unbeatable combination of our classic chocolate shake with the perfect amount of mint is a natural for this season."

The brand is also reviving the Whataburger Breakfast Burger featuring a beef patty, two bacon slices, an egg, three hash browns, American cheese and a signature pepper sauce.

"The Breakfast Burger is one of the most popular limited-time breakfast offers we've ever introduced," Scheffler said. "We're excited to answer the call for its return and share this special burger with new fans."
