Whataburger marks 75th anniversary with 75-cent burger deal

Whataburger is commemorating its 75th year of operation by offering rewards members a classic Whataburger for 75 cents on National Whataburger Day, Aug. 8.

The discounted Whataburger will be available exclusively to Whataburger Rewards members through online orders and the Whataburger App.

In addition to the loyalty member discount, Whataburger's 75th-anniversary celebrations will include the release of a second collection of limited-edition Commemorative Cups, with new designs debuting on Aug. 5, 12 and 19.

The company will also host an "Orange Out" night at Whataburger Field in Corpus Christi on Aug. 8, inviting local fans to a special 75th Anniversary Celebration game featuring the Corpus Christi Hooks. The event will include giveaways, such as limited-edition Whataguy masks and capes for early attendees, culminating in an orange fireworks show and a complimentary Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit coupon for all departing guests.

Whataburger's 75th-anniversary initiatives throughout 2025 have included the return of popular menu items from the WhataVault, the introduction of new beverages like the Prickly Pear Raspberry Whatafresher, and the "75 Stories for 75 Years" campaign, sharing fan experiences and memories.
