Grammy-award winning music artist Lainey Wilson is partnering with Whataburger to declare Feb. 4 National Whataburger Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit Day.
Whataburger will hand out free Honey Butter Chicken Biscuits from store opening through 11 a.m. at participating locations, according to a press release.
No purchase is necessary and there is a limit of one per person.
The Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit features a crispy, all-white meat chicken strip tucked inside a buttermilk biscuit and finished with a drizzle of Whataburger's signature Honey Butter sauce.
"If you know me, you know I don't need much of an excuse to celebrate a Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit," Wilson said in the release. "It's about time it got a moment of its own! Whataburger has been part of so many moments in my life, and this biscuit has seen me through early mornings and long nights more times than I can count."
The burger chain gave away the biscuits in 2025, and customers came out in droves.
"National Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit Day goes beyond the biscuit — it celebrates the traditions that keep guests coming back," Debbie Stroud, president and CEO of Whataburger, said in the release. "For generations, Whataburger has delivered signature flavors and heartfelt hospitality, cementing its role in Texas culture and beyond. Lainey embodies those same qualities which made continuing our relationship an easy and authentic choice."
Whataburger has more than 1,100 restaurants across 17 states.
