White Castle has installed an automated kiosk at Southwest Florida International Airport. Travelers passing through the Fort Meyers area can enjoy freshly heated, ready-to-eat beef and chicken sliders on demand, according to a press release.

The kiosk is part of a partnership with Just Baked, an automated food kiosk company, and Evolvending, an operator of automated dining solutions in travel hubs.

The fully automated unit features a curated menu of White Castle retail Sliders, including the Original Slider, Classic Cheese Sliders, the Cheddar Bacon Cheese Slider and the Chicken & Cheese Slider.

"Airports are all about speed, convenience and reliability, and this automated kiosk at RSW lets us deliver the White Castle experience in a world-class facility in a way that fits how people travel today," Sarah Paulson, director of retail marketing, innovation and licensing at White Castle, said in the release. "By combining automation with our iconic Sliders thanks to our partnership with Just Baked and Evolvending, we're meeting travelers where they are and rethinking what airport dining can look like."

Valentine Ellison, CEO of Evolvending, said her company is excited to launch its partnership with White Castle at the airport. "This location showcases the future of airport dining through its unique design and restaurant-quality food delivered through automation," Ellison said in the release.

White Castle is based in Columbus, Ohio and has about 340 restaurants and a retail division.
