Comfort food in all its forms has a habit of being a sit-down affair, but somehow White Castle has managed to give diners mac-and-cheese and Sloppy Joes in to-go packages this season, allowing diners to rush about in a state of holiday panic and still get a little stomach comfort as they go. The QSR has brought back its Mac & Cheese Nibblers and Sloppy Joe Sliders, while introducing a new spin on that sandwich this year, the Smokey Joe Slider, a news release said.

Now through Valentine's Day, the slider-sized tangy comfort food sandwiches are available for 99 cents, while the cheddar batter-fried packages of pasta and warm cheese known as Nibblers, are also available in three sizes, including a shareable snack.

The brand is also offering a mix-and-match comfort food combo that includes any six of the sandwiches in the Joe Six Pack for $6.

"What we've all been aching for is a warm hug, even if it's emotional and not physical," Jamie Richardson, White Castle vice president said in the release. "At the Castle, we've got you covered. With special offers of hot and tasty food like the new Smoky Joe Slider, our Cravers have a lot to look forward to!"

White Castle is based in Columbus, Ohio, and has more than 360 restaurants nationally.
