White Castle intros Italian-inspired Sliders

White Castle today sent out a promotional email announcing its new Slider Italiano Fest.

The Italiano Fest includes new menu items such as mozzarella cheese sticks, a crispy chicken Italiano Slider, a grilled chicken Italiano Slider; and a pizza Slider.

• The mozzarella sticks are served with a marinara dipping sauce in 3-, 5- and 10-piece orders.
• The crispy chicken Italiano Slider includes a breaded chicken breast with marinara and mozzarella cheese. The grilled chicken Italiano slider is the same sandwich, but with grilled chicken. The latter is served from 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.
• The pizza Slider features an original Slider base topped with a slice of pepperoni, marinara and mozzarella cheese.

"We're focused on continuing to be innovative in our test kitchen and offer our guests exciting new menu items such as the pizza and chicken Italiano Sliders which offer a unique taste that our guests will crave," VP Jamie Richardson said in a news release. "With something for all our Cravers, the White Castle menu offers a balanced mix of new limited-time-only options and our traditional Sliders to give our guests more delicious reasons to visit a Castle in their neighborhood."
