While people might get less vocal about their age as they get older, QSRs flaunt their longevity, and in the case of White Castle this year is a milestone after the fast food chain turned 100 on March 10. This month it continues its celebration of all things centennial-ish, with offers of cake and menu item price breaks, according to a news release.
For a limited time, customers can purchase the Original 10 Sack with 10 Original Sliders, for $5.99 or $6.99 in New York, New Jersey and Chicago. Customers can also upgrade orders to the Share-A-Meal #7, which includes 10 sliders, two small fries and two small drinks at a discount which varies by store region.
Then on April 18, White Castle begins offering its Birthday Cake On-A-Stick lineup including Fudge Dipped Cheesecake On-A-Stick, Fudge Dipped Brownie On-A-Stick and Gooey Buttercake On-A-Stick, which includes a vanilla cake base with white frosting, topped with blue, white and orange sprinkles, to reflect the chain's trademark colors. The limited-time dessert offerings are part of a year of activities around the chain's birthday.
White Castle, based in Columbus, Ohio, has more than360 stores nationally and a nationwide network of grocers that carry its retail frozen food line.
