White Castle turns to fine dining on Valentine's Day, offers Love Kit

For the 34th year, White Castle restaurants across the country are hosting their annual Valentine's Day Dinner. On Feb. 14, from 4-9 p.m., Castles transform into Love Castles, treating guests to a fine dining experience, according to a press release.

Diners can find their closest participating White Castle on OpenTable.

"Everyone can enjoy love at White Castle, where we always offer hot and tasty craveable food, great value and memorable moments — without the inflated price tag," Jamie Richardson, vice president at White Castle, said in the release. "Our Castles go all out to make Valentine's Day dinner extra special, adding a little extra love to everything we serve. We're the perfect place for celebrating love with friends, families and significant others."

Guests unable to secure a reservation or to drive to one of the more than 300 White Castle restaurants participating can order a Love Kit, designed to serve up to five people. The Love Kit includes eight Classic Cheese Sliders, six original Sliders, six Jalapeño Cheese Sliders, a pouch with pickles, 10 Strawberry Cheesecake Desserts on a Stick and coupons. It's priced at $99 and only available at White Castle's online store.

"The Love Kit is White Castle's way to meet lovers, and lovers of the Crave, wherever they may reside on Valentine's Day," Richardson said in the release. "Whether you live two blocks or 2,000 miles away from a Castle, the Love Kit lets you celebrate Valentine's Day with family or friends, or a steamy evening with a loved one without leaving the comfort of your home."

White Castle was founded in 1921 and has about 340 restaurants.
