White Castle employees were celebrated for their longevity of service at a ceremony held in Columbus.

White Castle welcomed 84 employees from eight states into its 25-Year Club at a banquet held on Sept. 17 in Columbus, Ohio. White Castle Founder E.W. "Billy" Ingram began the 25-Year Club in 1946, when he celebrated his silver anniversary with the family-owned business, according to a company press release.
"The longevity of our team members is an important milestone that we want to recognize," White Castle CEO Bill Ingram said. "White Castle is a successful family-owned business because of our friendly work environment that promotes positive relationships and dedication."
For the past 69 years, including 2015, 1,867 White Castle team members have joined the 25-Year Club, the release stated. The "Class of 2015" honorees include:
The 84 new club members hold positions ranging from general managers, production supervisors, crew managers to team members.
"In today's fast-paced work environment, we feel fortunate to have nearly 10 percent of our over 10,000 active team members with us for 25 years or longer and more than 1 in 4 have been with us 10 years or more," White Castle President Lisa Ingram said. "One of the founding principles of my great-grandfather Billy Ingram was to treat all team members with dignity and respect because they are the most important asset we have at White Castle."
Honorees were presented with a dinner recognizing their accomplishments, chauffeured limousine transportation, a VIP receptions and a gold watch on the evening of their induction, the release stated. Local team members, company executives and active 25-Year Club members also attended the ceremony to assist in honoring the new inductees.
White Castle owns and operates more than 390 restaurants in 12 states.
