Family-owned Wicked Good Cupcakes has partnered with Cinnabon to introduce a new line of cinnamon-spiced holiday treats, Wicked Good Cinnabon Cupcakes in a Jar. Wicked Good Cupcakes Founders Tracey and Dani Noonan gained national attention for their cupcakes in a jar when they appeared on ABC's "Shark Tank.” Impressed with the concept, the show's host and investor, Kevin O'Leary, helped them expand their burgeoning businesses into a multi-million dollar success in a few years, according to a company press release.
Former president of Cinnabon and current group president of FOCUS Brands, Cinnabon's parent company, Kat Cole responded to a tweet from the founders and they set up time to talk. Cole became impressed with the mother-daughter team that founded the company. After sharing best practices and business advice, Cole explored the opportunity for a brand partnership with the Wicked Good Cupcakes' founders.
"Just like us, Kat Cole is a female businesswoman who started at the bottom and worked her way up," Tracey Noonan said. "With all that she achieved at Cinnabon, and her involvement in many other successful startups, we are amazed and honored that she would take the time to mentor a mother-daughter startup like ours. We are so grateful for this wonderful opportunity.”
"It brings me such joy to work with innovative companies like Wicked Good Cupcakes and the ambitious women who run them," Cole said. "Having been in their shoes as women paving our own paths and being so involved in early stage consumer businesses, I know first-hand about the challenges that up-and-coming entrepreneurs face. I'm glad to lend a helping hand when I come across a young business that has great potential and passionate founders."
The Wicked Good Cupcakes Cinnabon lineup includes:
All of the Cinnabon offerings are created with Cinnabon signature ingredients, such as Makara Cinnamon, cream cheese frosting and Ooey-Gooey cinnamon spiced filling.
