Wienerschnitzel marks anniversary with 61-cent dogs

In honor of National Hot Dog Month and Wienerschnitzel’s 53rd anniversary, the company will offer 61-cent chili, mustard and Kraut dogs on July 20. The promotion is a nod to 1961, when Wienerschnitzel was founded in Wilmington, Calif.

“National Hot Dog Month, which also happens to be our anniversary month, is always a great opportunity to have some fun with our guests and express our appreciation for the support they’ve shown us over the years,” VP of Marketing, Tom Amberger, said in a news release. “The much-anticipated anniversary celebration with throwback pricing is a guest favorite that we look forward to almost as much as our fans.”
