Wienerschnitzel offers 99-cent chili dog promo for tax season

Wienerschnitzel has reduced the price of its signature Chili Dogs to 99 cents for a limited time through April 27.

Tom Amberger, VP of Marketing, said the promotion is a way to give the brand's loyal fans a price break during the stressful tax season.

The Chili Dog made its debut on Wienerschnitzel's original menu in 1961, and includes a grilled hot dog smothered with the brand's signature (secret recipe) chili.

The promotion is supported with television and radio broadcast, social media, print advertising and in-store signage.
