Wienerschnitzel to launch corn dogs in select grocery retailers

Wienerschnitzel will launch its corndogs in select grocery stores in California and Nevada, according to a press release.

In collaboration with Golden West Food Group, Original Corn Dogs and Chili Cheese Flavored Corn Dogs (a retail exclusive) can be found in more than 500 grocery stores, including Save Mart, FoodMaxx and Lucky, plus Albertsons and Vons.

"Our corn dogs are perfect for a meal or quick snack, and we're excited to partner with Albertsons and Save Mart Brands to give people a first taste of them at retail," Doug Koegeboehn, Wienerschnitzel's CMO, said in the release.

Wienerschnitzel has nearly 359 restaurants in 10 states.
