Wienerschnitzel wraps new hot dog line in bacon

Marking its 50th anniversary this year, Wienerschnitzel has proven it knows what stands the test of time. It’s no wonder, then, that the chain has embraced bacon for its new hot dog line.

For a limited time and at participating locations, Wienerschnitzel’s new bacon-wrapped hot dog line features three different creations:

• The original bacon-wrapped hot dog
• The bacon-wrapped hot dog with chili
• The bacon-wrapped street dog with grilled onions, ketchup, mustard and mayonnaise

The line specifically features Applewood smoked bacon.

“We’ve kept our bacon-wrapped hot dogs under the radar for some time now, testing and perfecting them to make sure they exceed both our high quality and taste specifications,” said Tom Amberger, vice president of marketing for Wienerschnitzel. “It’s no secret that bacon is a popular addition to just about any food.”
