Yoshinoya intros BBQ rib and chicken plates

Yoshinoya hasadded a newline of BBQ Short Rib amd Chicken Plates to its menu in the United States. The new menuitems will feature options of BBQ beef short ribs, BBQ boneless chicken or a combination of bothserved on a plate accompanied with original fried rice, yakisoba noodles and fresh salad.
 
"We are very excited about the introduction of this new menu category," said menu developmentspecialist Kwang Ho. "We've been testing and refining the BBQPlates line to perfect the balance of flavors while delivering exceptional value to our guests."
 
The BBQ Plates launchrepresents the first entrée item to go beyond the brand's rice bowl format. Since the opening of the first Yoshinoya restaurant in the United States in 1979, the YoshinoyaAmerica menu has primarily featured chicken bowls, the classic Beef Bowl, Shrimp Bowl as well asthe popular Combination Bowl.
 
The BBQChicken Plate, the Beef Short Rib Plate and the combination BBQ Beef Short Rib and Chicken Platewill be introduced at most locations by the end of August.
