Yum CEO awarded $15.5 million in 2007

CNN Money:Yum Brands Inc. awarded its chief executive, David Novak, $15.5 million in total compensation last year — a 42-percent increase from $10.9 million in 2006, according to the company's preliminary proxy statement.
In addition to an 8-percent salary increase, Novak received $3.4 million in stock awards, $4.3 million in options and stock appreciation rights, $4.7 million in non-equity incentive plan compensation, $1.6 million from the change in pension value and non-qualified deferred compensation earnings and $203,939 in all other compensation, according to the proxy, which was filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on March 17.
