Miso Robotics, the leading AI and robotics provider for modern restaurants and hospitality, today announced significant momentum for its Zignyl restaurant revenue generator product as Sbarro, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, and Jersey Mike’s operators join existing franchisees for Cinnabon, Auntie Anne’s Pretzels, Häagen-Dazs, and Which Wich. The announcement underscores the growing demand for real-time operational intelligence among quick-serve restaurant operators, setting the stage for the upcoming combination of Zignyl with Miso’s Zippy products that will debut new AI features.

Zignyl, acquired by Miso Robotics earlier this year, is a real-time restaurant revenue generator that gives operators and frontline teams live visibility into whether they are winning or losing during a shift — not after. By surfacing actionable insights across labor management, demand forecasting, employee rewards, and sales activations in real time, Zignyl helps operators make better decisions in the moment and directly ties employee performance to measurable revenue outcomes.

The results of adding Zignyl have been immediate and measurable across its customer base. For example, Zignyl has driven a +64% increase in revenue per labor hour across a 30-unit Auntie Anne’s operator, delivered $1,600 in monthly savings per location for a Jersey Mike’s franchise group, and improved sales per labor hour by 27% across a 4-unit Häagen-Dazs operator.

"Restaurants run on thin margins, and every shift is a live profit-and-loss event," said Bruce Friedman, Chief Revenue Officer of Miso Robotics. "We couldn't be more pleased to welcome these impressive names to the Miso family. Zignyl solves a real problem that every operator faces: their managers can't see what's happening in real time, so they're making decisions after-the-fact. We've heard from operators across the country dealing with steep traffic declines — some telling us foot traffic is down by as much as two-thirds — and the question they're all asking is the same: how do I protect revenue when I can't control how many customers walk through the door?”

Friedman added, “The brands using Zignyl today have found the answer. By giving staff real-time guidance and automated upsell rewards, Zignyl operators are growing even in a tough environment. Across all customers, ticket sizes are up almost 10% and sales are up almost 30%, including at locations facing declining foot traffic."

Franchisors Step Up to Support Their Operators

A key driver of the platform’s expanding adoption has been the direct engagement of franchisor corporate offices, which are increasingly turning to Zignyl as a tool to support both the profitability of their franchisee networks and their compliance with brand standards. Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory became an early proof-point for this model, hosting a webinar for its franchisees that resulted in immediate new deployments — demonstrating the power of corporate-led discovery and adoption.

"Zignyl's forecasting is what sold me. My staff love seeing their goals laid out in front of them, and that visibility has changed how they work,” said Tyson Minnick, Owner of the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory location on State Street in Chicago“We have seen a clear bump in sales since we started using Zignyl. The scheduling portal is straightforward, and Zignyl’s support team made setup painless. They handled everything and got us up-and-running fast.”

“We are always looking for new ways to support our franchisees, and when we saw how well it has worked for one of our owners, we knew that it would work for many of them,” said Scott Harvey, Vice President of Franchise Business Support at Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory.“Bringing a group of franchise owners together in one webinar gave them the opportunity to see how Zignyl can help improve their businesses, and we’re pleased to see more of them becoming Zignyl customers.”

What’s Next: Zignyl + Zippy and the AI Layer

Today’s announcement is another chapter of a larger story because Miso will soon begin beta testing new AI features with existing customers as Zignyl combines with Miso’s Zippy product.

Zippy is built on Miso’s patented Miso Hub AI infrastructure platform, developed in collaboration with NVIDIA (NASDAQ: NVDA), and represents a fundamental upgrade in what restaurant operations software can do. Combined with Zignyl’s proven delivery of real-time operational visibility, the new generation of Zippy will layer on a ChatGPT-style conversational experience, AI-powered analytics that explain performance rather than simply report it, elevated real-time forecasting and scheduling guidance, and role-based frontline coaching to drive additional revenues.

“Zignyl is already driving immediate revenue improvements for operators every single shift,” said Matt Forbush, Head of the Zippy Product at Miso. “With Zippy, we’re going to supercharge everything we’ve built by adding Miso’s AI intelligence on top of a platform that restaurant operators are already relying on every day.”
