A McDonald’s restaurant in Fort Collins, Colo., has partnered with OrderUp to offer delivery around town. According to the Coloradoan, customers order a meal for delivery via OrderUp’s website for the same price as an in-store purchase. However, a minimum amount is required and processing and delivery fees are included, depending on location.
OrderUp started in Fort Collins and delivers food from about 40 restaurants, the story said. The McDonald’s franchisee said the delivery service is in test and could be added to another restaurant if it goes well.
Dunkin’ Donuts halts service
Meanwhile, in Boston’s Davis Square neighborhood, Dunkin’ Donuts is no longer offering delivery through third-party service, Foodler.
Boston.com reported the delivery partnership last week, but followed up a day later reporting that the restaurant has stopped the service.
