Krystal introduces bigger burger option

The Krystal Company has introduced Krystal Stackers, a new line of its signature burgers featuring twice the meat and ingredients. According to a company news release, the Stackers add an “indulgent big burger experience to its small, square, steamy bun.”

Now available at all 350 Krystal restaurants, Stackers are the first major new product launch since 2010, when the chain rolled out its Game Time Wings. To celebrate, Krystal is offering Stackers at an introductory price of two for $3.

“Our loyal customers are always looking for new ways to enjoy the famous Krystal,” said Krystal Vice President of Menu Strategy Stan Dorsey. “They dreamed it, and we did it – doubling the flavor our fans crave while keeping our distinctive size that makes a Krystal, a Krystal.”

Stackers can be ordered in four different ways: Original style, served with two all-beef patties and Krystal’s traditional toppers – onions, pickles and mustard – on a steamed bun; The Cheese Stacker adds two slices of American cheese between the two patties; the Bacon and Cheese Stacker includes bacon; and the Deluxe Stacker includes lettuce, tomato and mayo, along with the classic Krystal condiments.
