Hello from the new editor!

Introducing Travis Wagoner as the new editor or QSRWeb.com and Pizzamarketplace.com.

September 9, 2015 by Travis Wagoner — Editor, Networld Media Group

Never before have there been more ways to order, pay for and, most importantly, enjoy food. Eating out isn’t what it used to be thanks to technology that allows customers to order food to an exact specification from just about anywhere.

As the new editor of QSRWeb.com and Pizzamarketplace.com, I'll be writing stories about how technology has changed the restaurant business as well as about food trends and industry news, but I'll also give more attention to the people who make the restaurant business thrive —  the restaurant-system team. Every team member has a role to play and will be highlighted from time to time.

I come to this position as a former writer of an educational institution full of hungry high school students. They eat. A lot. For more than 17 years, I produced a 60-plus page quarterly magazine that covered everything they did from their food choices to career paths, so I have an understanding about young consumers that gives me some insight when it comes to writing about how businesses can better reach them. I hope you will find that useful, but I also want to know how you do it, so I can share that info with other readers of QSRWeb.com and Pizzamarketplace.com. You —  our readers —  can help turn our news sites into learning tools by sharing your knowledge, expertise, advice and insight. I want to hear what’s working for you and how you fixed what wasn't working. This is a tough industry, so how do you make it work in your favor?

Please reach out to me. You can email me or share a comment below. Have your say. We want your feedback to ensure that QSRWeb.com and Pizzamarketplace.com deliver what you need to help you run your business.
