ACS, McDonald's extend IT services contract

McDonald's Corp. has signed a five-year information technology contract extension with Affiliated Computer Services Inc. (ACS), furthering ACS' existing six-year relationship with McDonald's, the company has announced.
ACS will continue to provide a full portfolio ofmanaged IT servicesincluding:
- Service desk, user access, executive support and security administration
- Desktop support and engineering
- Messaging services
- Mainframe/ midrange server support and engineering
- Networking operations and engineering
- Datacenter facilities management
ACS also will provide McDonald's with an end-to-end application performance monitoring service. The solution will enhance the diagnosis of performance issues across the core technology stacks, and support planning and infrastructure readiness. Additionally, it will support the development, testing and quality assurance processes as well as production operational performance.
