ACS to manage Burger King's global enterprise server

DALLAS — Affiliated Computer Services Inc. announced that it has been awarded a multi-million dollar information technology outsourcing (ITO) contract with Burger King Corporation.
Under the terms of the five-year contract, ACS will manage Burger King's entire global enterprise server and end-user computing environments. ACS' end-to-end infrastructure solution will include enterprise server hosting and systems engineering, system management, print and mail services, and end-user computing.
ACS will also deliver integrated general support services, such as monitoring, help desk, and problem and change management.
According to a news release, ACS currently operates multiple large mainframe and midrange data centers, manages numerous networks, and administers desktops around the globe.
